No, I’m confused. The same guy who posted the video also said Harley was being outperformed, so I don’t get it.

I have had a LOT of motorcycles. Two Indians, a 2014 Vintage (17,000 miles) and a 2015 Chieftain (32,000 miles). Three Harleys, the last two being a 2019 Road King (18,000 miles) and a 2021 Heritage Classic.(3000 miles so far) I would purchase a Harley over a Indian any day.

I used to think they give you a lot for the money as compared to H-D, but not so much lately, and certainly not with their Elite (trying to compete with the CVO). Fit, finish, chrome and paint... It does not compare to H-D.

Truly riding the coat-tails of their American heritage.
You may hear anecdotally people say that lately Indian is out doing Harley performance-wise but the an independent reviewers in the video don't support that, although a lot of that can come down to personal preference or "feeling". But fit and finish-wise, there is proof in the video that the Indian is still not up to snuff, as it is noted that with one of the easiest parts of manufacturing a >$20K motorcycle, the brand name is peeling off the gas tank.

Same here... The CW guys "gush" over the Indian instrumentation unit and dump on just about everything else about the bike.

I posted that review and even commented that CW made a very obvious choice. You missed the point I was making which their competitors to the Street Glide and Road Glide offer a much better bang for the buck let alone when it comes to performance their Challenger is in its own there as Harley has nothing. I still am leery of buying an Indian as I have only two local dealers and don't care for either. At least with Harley there are six or seven in my local area and I know if I buy a Harley I can easily sell it or trade it

I want to like the Indians but the fit and finish is what kills them. Look at a 2 year old Indian in person. The low quality of everything is apparent.

@Curated Content Editor why is it one Moderator deletes any post with a rival brand in it, the most recent being on BMW copying HD baggers, yet you post content regularly about other manufactures vs Harley and it is allowed.

How about some continuity in allowed content or is it you have a power hungry keyboard hall monitor on your staff
