I’m 67, my ‘17 Ultra Limited has only 30,000 miles, and has everything I need. So, it’s probably the last bike I’ll own.

As my 8 year old grandson put it very succinctly yesterday. We were in the garage yesterday, and he asked his mom when she’d let him ride with me. And she said, “ when you’re 25”. To which he replied, “Grampy will probably be dead by then”.

Could I possibly get any stodgier?
There’s a 2021 Indian Springfield two hours east of me, and one three hours west. Good excuses to ride and see them. Same weight as an FLHX. They get high marks on the forums for being fairly nimble to be such big fat pigs. I otherwise have no way of knowing what that means without riding one.

I hope to buy a new 2031 two wheeled Limited
(and a few in between). I'll be 80 then!

I'm thinking about finding a bike to build me a nice bobber. I've done pretty much all I want to do to my Night Train. Time to find a new project.

Just before the weekend when I booked a test drive of Indian, my Harley's battery died

Never let anyone tell you that inanimate objects can’t hear us. I was getting ready to saw in half a 25 year old string trimmer so it would fit in the trashcan outside, because it would no longer crank. I had just gotten back from the dealer who said carb rebuild kits were no longer available because it was so old. I had already poured out the remaining mixed gas to throw out the beast. I thought, “What the heck. I’ll give it one last pull.”
Cranked right up. Used it for three more years. Didn’t run great, but it ran.

Pan Am interests me.
But I can't swing a $350+ payment for a toy .
Next bike if it happens, will be something fast and under 500 pounds .
Yamaha's MT-10 would great I think, but the MT-09 would be more reali$tic given my budget

Most likely after many years will not be a Harley . Had it with their BS. My 2020 is the last HD. Maybe a Polaris Indian or a BMW. My 2020 is a great bike . If HD was not play so many games it would be a Pan AM withe road tires and lower a bit.
My 1996 FB stays for ever. The 2015 Street 750 stays with the sidecar on it. When I do by a new the 2020 will stay with the sidecar also.

At mid 70's, my 2017 Ultra Limited Low is probably my last bike. Unless it ever gets too heavy then start looking at a 650cc sports bike. Had a 1200cc before my Harley.
