Royal Enfield Himalayan or maybe a BMW F650GS.

The place didn't have one, but they had my RT. I'm a boxer guy from way back so I figured I should at least check it out. I'm glad I did. It exceeded all my expectations. It just may be the perfect bike for me. I wish I would have looked at them sooner. Not that the SGS I traded was a bad bike. Not at all. We had a blast on that bike and it was really nice looking. I got a lot of compliments on it everywhere I went. No one looks twice at the RT. It just blends in with all the other metrics basically.

You may want to at least try an RT when you check out the 16B. It's lighter so the power to weight ratio is similar. The 0-60 times and 1/4 mile times are very close contrary to what many believe. And coming off the Street Glide the thing is a rocket by comparison. Plenty enough for me.
Just worried the RT might be too small for me at 6'3" 255

I doubt it will be. I'm 6-4+/205. I was surprised at how roomy it is.

That said, the leg position might throw some folks off if they are accustom to the feet forward position on a Harley. I had a Yamaha FJ09 where my feet were back a bit and I got used to it. The Rt is far more relaxed than that even. It definitely has mid pegs - not rear set. But there will still be a bend in the knees no matter what. For me it's just fine though and I have a 34+ inseam.

Here's a cool tool I use when I'm wondering if I'll fit. It's surprisingly accurate - Motorcycle Ergonomics (cycle-ergo.com)

I finished thinking about it a while back, added a 2020 BMW 1600B to the garage. Smooth as silk, very comfortable and powerful.

Indian Chieftain ever since a demo day would be my choice but doubt at my age will ever buy another bike. I would have to sell both of my bikes to pay for half of one new.

Good choice. Love ride quality on Indian line up. It’s plush ride like Lexus. I would buy one if they had reverse available. No nonsense like crappy suspension H-D has or stiff clutch. Although their qc sucks and hand controls look like made for yeti lol 😆
