What is the next motorcycle you’re thinking about

I am all over the place for what I want in a motorcycle. After taking a closer look this past weekend at a 2021 Street Bob 114, I really like it. The simplicity of it is appealing. It looks like it would be fun for the type of riding I wan to do. Then again I could feed my cheap nature by picking up a 2013 Street Glide garage queen a friend of a friend has with less than 5,000 miles on it. He was limited in his riding due to health issue. It looks like a new motorcycle. Just not sure if I want a black street glide which would get lost in the crowd plus I like cruisers better.

There are times, I really miss my former Thruxton, a former M/G V7 Racer, and even my touring Hinkley Bonneville, But each time I thinned the herd, the sporty won out that category. Just more fun to ride. Almost as much fun in the canyons, and is indestructible.
I looked hard a long at upgrading my touring. Had the Rushmore been developed for a few more years, I’d be on a Rushmore. My riding buddies did the M8, had issues, not fixed and eventually traded them in for newer ones which, aside from losing the water pump on day two of a 30 day trip, have been solid bikes.
I like the 2021 EG Revival. It is a nostalgic bike idea, bringing thoughts of my HS and my 80 FLH. I’ll keep my regular bike for touring two up, my sporty for errands and attitude adjustment, and use the revival to replace to Heritage for meeting a buddy hundreds of miles away for a beer or an ice cream. One of us throws a dart, and a time to meet. Boy, it is nice to be retired.
$ 30,000 just might be doable, but if the do a RK version, I’d have it on order now. That said, I could pick up an EVO and paint one for a lot less. But, to answer the ops question, that is the only one worth thinking seriously about and has a useful niche in my life.
