Considering this new Moto Guzzi V7 Stone 850. Keeping my '19 Heritage of course. A lighter bike high in character, another style of V twin, air cooled, shaft drive, should be a lot of fun.

I totally hear you. I'm liking what I see with the PA. I wonder how the Pan American does at freeway speeds -- you know, 80MPH and so forth. Is it stable? Does it ride about like a Sportster? Can't say I loved my Sportster on those conditions although I did it often enough.

I have a Sport Glide and love it. I also have a 14 King that I love, but a little hard to handle in parking conditions with sand or gravel lots. My wife has a Freewheeler and it's a blast to ride. In a couple of years I might trade my King in on a Freewheeler. But if Harley puts the Pan Am motor in a low setting bike with forward controls, I would definitely take a test ride.

Well, before this afternoon, my answer was nothing...I have all the bikes that I need/want for the rest of my run. BUT! Today I stopped by the dealership and there was a brand new Pan America 1250 Special in Deadwood Green. Very impressed with the looks/appointments. The bike was spoken for, so no riding and no touchy, but I definitely want to take one for a ride when opportunity presents. And if it rides as great as it looks, THAT will be the next one that I'm thinking about. UhOh!

I plan to keep my bike. I keep making it a bit nicer.

There are just so many I would like to have. A Panhead w/ jockey shift, a Kawasaki KLR, Ducati Streetfighter V4S, another Kawasaki ZX14 and a base Electra Glide without the front fairing, Honda CRF Rally

There is at coworker that may be selling his Yamaha 750 Triple, if not wanting too much I might give it a look. He is also thinking of selling his Kawasaki H2 "Widowmaker", though I doubt if I would want to pay what that might bring. Either one is something an old phart like me don't really need. Make a nice Café Racer I think.
