2019 Ultra Limited. The last year of chrome on the wheels & chrome fender tip light. The last year they still were pretty. I don't like the plain look of the new UL's & am not into the all blacked ones at all.
Probably going to be a while before I consider adding anything to the garage, but I'd like something along the lines of a Shovelhead FLH, an Evo FL Softail, or maybe even an Evo Road King. Just something simple, relatively stock and relatively reliable, reasonably cheap, and I can put a big fat seat, saddlebags and windshield on and cruise in relative comfort with my wife on the back.
Not long ago, we had a thread on green bikes and I discovered the 2018 olive/black Heritage. Almost immediately, I found one less than 100 miles from me for $16,500 with 5,000 miles and a few extra goodies. I was SMITTEN, but just didn't have the cash and wasn't ready to let one of my current rides go....
This is not the bike I found, but it's plenty to drool over:
That is exactly the bike I currently own! It is absolutely perfect for me. She has been my ride since new in Nov '17 and I still cannot find a reason not to love her.
That said, my next bike may just be a Honda Monkey, you know....just for monkeying around the property!
Most likely a Sportster...not sure on the year or model yet. I like a lot of different ones. I think it would be a nice addition to my other 2 Harleys.
