Loss of power and dying while riding!
Hey there, I'm new to the forums and Harleys as well. I've had my 2017 Street Bob for a few months now and today I began to have an issue with it. I stopped to get gas after about half an hour of riding and when I got back on the road after about two minutes, my bike started to accelerate on its own for about a second then die down. When it died down, my speedometer went from 50 to 0 then right back up to 50 all while the bike is slightly bucking. I decided to go home when this started and the problem continued. I reached a roundabout and shifted down to first gear, while in first the engine was revving up then down while I had my clutch pulled in then it evened out when I got back up to speed. when I reached another roundabout and shifted down to first, I pulled in my clutch and the bike completely died. The bike did start up again after I pulled over and I took it easy back into town. The bike continued with these issues until I got home and shut it off. I've checked the battery terminals and all's good there, so my next idea is there was possibly moisture in the gas that I filled the bike with or the fuel filter is clogged but I'm not sure what to do past that. Any help is appreciated so thank you for taking the time to help!

The "accelerating on it's own" is concerning.
R U saying that if you apply no throttle, the engine rev's up and down?
Interesting that you say shortly after putting fuel in the tank.
It may beneficial 4 U to drain (or siphon) as much fuel as possible and put some fresh fuel in to see if it makes any difference.
I would also suggest that even before you do the fresh fuel thing that you make sure that your battery is fully charged.
A discharged battery in a bike can make it run very badly and many people discover this many times in the spring.
