I bought my bike from a Boozefighter. He takes excellent care of his rides.

Partied with a the BoozeFighters in Casper Wyo. last month. The group I ride with (see Sig) met up with a group from Montana calling themselves the "Bastards". The bastards invited the BoozeFighters to come along. They were associated with the Badlands Chapter. I would have to say that I haven't partied like that in quite a while. Met their chapter president and he gave me his "card" on the back it says they are one of the oldest active clubs in existence. And that they ARE NOT a 1 percent club nor has it ever been. There was even a movie made about the BoozeFighters called "The Wild One" starring Lee Marvin who played the clubs founder "Wino" ***** Forkner. Marlon Brando also starred in the movie.

In this case...I actually think speeding was not the reason for the pull-over, (traffic was flying and the cop could have pulled anyone of us over) but solely that he was getting the SUV for tailgaiting the biker, and the cop was never after the biker.......that's what makes this so cool....but I AM just speculating.

tailgaters [:'(] tailgaters behind a bike, any bike - [:@][sm=smiley7.gif][sm=shootshoot.gif][sm=outcold.gif]

last night going home in my cage, I95 stop & go traffic,I see a guy on a sporty in the hov lane (left) cage riding his a$$. I'm checking out his ride and see that he may be somewhat nervous/irritated by his tag along guest.(checking mirrors, etc.) I considered cutting his guest off (legally) and pulling in behind him to create a buffer. however that woulda technically been illegal for me in the hov lane. anyway they moved ahead and I can only hope he made it home safe.

did I mention I HATE tailgaters?

Coming home from my daughters ballet class last Saturday and jumped on the freeway next to a run of some kind. There was a line of bikes bout 2 miles long, all riding staggered in the left lane. Road construction causes the road to narrow from 4 to 2 lanes. One dude a couple of cars up musta been in a hurry cause he cut into the left lane and pushedone of thebikes almost up against the guard rail. Then he cut back into the right lane. He did this 3 or 4 times, almost smashing the one bike against the barrier everytime. As soon as we got out of the construction and back to 4 lanes 2 bike cops on Harleys flew around me and had him within 500 yards. Definitely brother helping brother.

Too cool! How many times do you see something like that and wish there was a cop nearby to see it? How many times is there a cop there that does nothing?

We had one the other night. Me and the old man were headed back from a custom bike shop (term used loosely) when an idiot in a Ford Explorer started riding Dad's ***. He passed both of us on a double yellow, in a curve, at least 20mph over the speed limit and took up half of Dad's lane. Idiot got past me and rounded the next corner, meeting a TN state trooper. Trooper flipped on his lights, waited for us to go by then tore a U-turn and nailed his ***! I tooted my horn as I passed the Explorer just to rub it in.

Unfortunitely I wouldn't have even thought twice about it... I would have pulled in right in front of that F'n Cage in my truck and given the biker a thumbs up as he quickly pulls away as I would be slowing...

I know... I know I am a vigilante road rage driver... I promise I only do it to people who totally deserve it! I usually only do it very subtly and if they get pissed I wave and smile like I really didn't realize I did something to pizz them off... hehehe

I've been on both ends of the spectrum. About a month ago I was coming home from work in stop and go trafficon the beltway around DC when a cage kept getting so closeto me that you couldn't even walk between his front bumper and my rear tire. After about thefourth time I put my bike in neutral and got off and heatedlyasked him what his f'n problem was. At about the same a guy rodeup on anUltra Classic with a full size van behind him. Guy in van cut off the other guy to provide a buffer, then me and theguy on the UC rode together the rest of the way using the old addage that "two are more visiable than one".

Last night saw a guy on a bagger being tailgated by a cage.Guy on bagger sped up enough where I could get in behind him andit was my turn to create the buffer.

I HATE TAILGATERS!!!
