I said it this way in a different thread many weeks ago:

H-D should maybe consider doing bike 'drops'....essentially very limited production of certain models with unique paint schemes and parts. I suggested a couple of 'drops' per year, with dealers and potential buyers not knowing (too far) ahead of time what the drop(s) would look like or entail. It would basically boil down to a few thousand bikes specifically designed to be exclusive...generate interest...and attract attention to H-D as the releases (drops) are anticipated. My personal (maybe worthless) opinion is that these one-off unique bikes will sell....period. I applaud the company for this experiment, and I hope it pays off.

I'll reserve judgement until I see it. I love the old styling though so my opinion on it might be out of the norm lol

Have you seen a better picture than the one at the beginning of this thread? I really can't tell much from what I've seen so far. I was just going on MOCO past practice of old engine, old frame, and a few minor tweaks here and there and voila, we have a new model. I could be wrong, but I see the same activity as the last two softail experiments that are now gone. But like I said, maybe you have seen different views and know more about it than I do. I just don't see Harley putting a whole lot of resources into selling 1500 bikes. Not looking to one up or start an argument. Cheers

I'm not really against what the bike will be. From what I can see of the picture it looks like something I would consider riding.

I'm just against the limited edition, higher price. They are making something people want, then pricing it so people can't afford to buy it.

But if they only make 1,500 of them, they will sell every single one very quickly.

Take an existing platform, name it 'Revival', limit production and charge a premium. Keep moving, nothing to see here.

Now, the Revolution Max is cool. It better positions Harley to compete with the Ducati Diavel, Indian Scout and other power cruisers. Would be nice if Harley offers a performance exhaust, carbon fiber bits and other accessories for the Max.

Nailed it.

For all the doom and gloom of this forum at times, MoCo is selling bikes like hotcakes right now in my part of Wisconsin.

Tell that to all the leg-humpers in the Q1-2021 thread.

just the pic with the sun behind it. but from that you can tell it's got the old 70s era seat with the hand rails, looks like rear end is a little different, spoked wheels, and smaller wheels/larger rubber. i'm not going to buy one, but I am interested in seeing it in full detail upon release.

I hope it all works out for them.

The Revival looks interesting to me. I like the tall seat/police bike ergo's on FLs. I also like the classic look of 16" wheels. I do not like conventional spoked wheels that require the use of inner tubes. I'll check it out if a nearby dealer gets one.
