I saw one in the dealership this Monday and not really sure what all the hype is about.

No hype. Either it speaks to you, or it doesn't. I wanted one based on a picture I found of me on the back of my Dad's bike from 1972. His looked very similar to the 69 EG, but with a windshield instead of a fairing. I thought it might be a nice way to remember him and pay homage to the '69

With that motorcycle and a white helmet, watch how many folks will slow down around you. Be careful when they lock up the brakes to do it.

At least you know they see you.

LOL

I saw one in Tellico Plains today. It stands out with the white bags and fairing. If you already have a blue EG would be pretty easy to paint the fairing and bags white as they come right off. Get the seat redone in white with a black insert on top.

Much cheaper than buying the Revival. A white trunk if you have a Ultra might even go with it. The Revival wont be collectible in my opinion any more than the anniversary models were.

I'm probably gonna get roasted for this, but if anyone thinks in this day and age that a mass produced motorcycle (or car, and yes, I'm aware there are only 1500 of these) is going to be collectible or hold their value, you're fooling yourself. I bought the Revival because it spoke to my heart and I wanted it, nothing more.

Almost like an older Honda, Suzuki or Yamaha that was ruby red, brown, or some other colour and got the Vetter basic black fairing and bags

That's the point..... this bike is an homage to the 1969 FLH..... the first H-D to have the batwing fairing. The technology didn't exist in those days to paint fiberglass so they left the fairing and bags in the natural birch white color.

Same here. This is the bike I wanted back in 2009 when I bought my Road King. A Road King and two Street Glide Specials later, I finally got the Harley-Davidson I've always wanted. I'm going to ride the heck out of it and not worry about it's "collectability".

If you own it, it's in your collection. That's really all that matters. Great rides!

Corvettes had fiberglass bodies starting in 1953. I'm sure that leaving the bags and fairings all white had some other reason than not having the ability to paint fiberglass.

Really? That sounds like an expensive PITA to me.
