Default Good and bad.

Had a close call coming to work today. Going south on Rte 146. Jersey barriers on my left and a lane of traffic on the right. A four door sedan sqeezed me pretty close to the jersey barrier. Must of been in the blind spot. Toot of the horn and the rear wheel sqeeling woke the lady up. As I past her I yelled "What the F***, She looked more scared than me. I got about 10 miles down the road and I felt a little bad. Shouldn't have sweared at her. It also made me appreciate some things I have been taking for granted. I guess you need to look at both sides of the coin.

Don't feel bad for someone elses mistake/poor driving. You just taught her a lesson that she should have learned in class when she was 15... to look over your shoulder before changing lanes.
She would have said the same thing if a big rig did the same to her..

Everybody is turning soft on us, it seems, and are worried about 'improving the image of all bike riders.' I don't see what the big deal is with the image as it is. I can see keeping the pipes quiet in residential area, etc...but if some dipshit about puts my *** into a concrete barrier, you can bet i'll be cussing with everything in me.

Tinkermc,
If you read the whole thread you would have saw that I felt bad about swearing and it was done after a close call. The point of the thread was that sometimes I take things for granted and it takes something like this to put things into perspective.
