Default Wheelie ticket

After seeing these kids on their crotch rockets doing the wheelie thing off the light--saw one get pulled the other day.
I keep thinking their nuts to be doing this in trafic-I have seen them do wheelies on288 andI95--damn crazy, maybe I`m getting old.

I still think they look like monkeys humppin afootball on those things-can not be that comfortable riding--damn I am old I reckon..

Oh well still saving for my first HD also my first motorcycle at age 56-so many models,Low Rider,Fat Boy,Heritage Classic, Road King Classic--man.
Still trying to talk my wife into the idea-she is hard to convince- until I get my bike I hope you guys let me hang around to get info and ideas.

thanks
mike

Test ride them and see what bike dose what you want. They will give you a new life. And then you will be doing wheelies too. Starts at $100. a month. For a new way of life.

Welcome. And hang all you want. I didn't get my first HD until 2 years ago at 39. I stuck to my guns and swore I wouldn't own another bike until I could get an HD.

Man was it worth the wait!

Welcome...come on in!

My son has two bikes. One is a crotch rocket. He tells me that a guy he knows did a wheelie on the road, cops started after him...he ran...guess what happened next....

Cops caught him, he got a huge fine and jail time. Now has a felony on his record and has effectively limited his future because of being stupid on the bike.

I swear I think that if you get on a rocket bike your IQ goes down while you are riding it. They tend to make you do things that you wouldn't normally do.

I will stick with my little Harley...

I don't think that I could reach the handle bars on one of those rockets anyway...with my big belly thing going on.....

I was slowly approaching a red light one day, when it turned green and a kid waiting on a sportsbike popped a wheelie off the line, coming toward me. Well, something in his tranny blew up (there was a hole in the housing after we picked the bike up), and the rear wheel locked while the front wheel was up in the air. Not a pleasant outcome. He was ok though, other than the bumps, bruises, and road rash. He said he'd just had a "buddy" work on the trans the day before. I wonder what he was thinking to try a wheelie right after that. He was lucky that time.

Well it's a no brainer here. I don't think that even with the 125" I would be able to get this 900lbs off the front wheel. Then you have to take into account that there is a 54 year old on its back is another reason it will not lift the front wheel.. RoadRunR good luck this is my first H-D and I love it. I have never looked back. Just gasing down the road..
