Default Stupid kids.

I'm sitting at a red light yesterday on my commute home. This kid pulls up next to me on a Yamaha R1.I look over at him to give him a nod.I noticed his full face is not strapped.I think to myself well he just forgot to buckle it.Right at that time he notices a freind in a cage on the other side of me,the kid lifts his helmet up to say hi to is freind. The light turns green and all he did was pull the helmet down without buckling it and takes of like he's in a drag race. Also this was a school zone,25mph.He must of been going well over 50!What the hell are some people thinking?

We all know (having been there once ourselves) that kids are both ignorant AND dumb. They think themselves impervious to harm.

I got lucky in that I am actually invulnerable.

I know this wasn't the point of your thread but...
Dang! School Zones in July!?!
That sux.
My commute in summer is a lot nicer because of no school-zones and lighter traffic.
I guess the schools around my commute don't offer any classes during summer.

Saw the same thing last Suday, kid on a Ninja with helmet unstrapped was tailgating my girlfriend and I in our cage. Just shook my head when he pulled up next to us at a light. I'm sure we will be chalking another one up for Darwin with that guy.

What makes you believe he had the capacity to think? Seems to me based on the story you describe he has poo for brains!

Is this meant to be inflammatory? Obviously the OP thought that the kid was being stupid because he didn't buckle a helmet he decided to wear. Not surewear you're going with the post, but we don't need morebickerin' in the forums.
