HELLO!!!!!!!!! japel asks a question & it turns into Roe vs Wade here.Don't throw in your opinions as fact,& links are BS.Some have stated that wifes has ridin while pregnant(my wife did with my last two),we're not off roading here folks. For me the answer is right here:
If mom and baby are healthy then there is no reason why she can't ride. Wanting to ride is another story...if mom doesn't want to then no reason she should.

Got a lot of friends that refuse to let thier wives ride during this time, some female riders I know wouldn't dream of it.

if it is something you were doing before, then why not during. My wifes doctor put it thast way. If she feels comfortable, mentally and physically, then not a problem.

I wonder how I survived standing in the front seat between my mom and dad before seat belts and baby seats. DUH. Oh, I remember, we didn't have Nanny Politicals. Real men and women ran the country.

My wife rode with me once while pregnant and decided it wasn't for her. No worries.

To each their own.

There is a law against it "Murphy's Law".congrats, when your child is born and is looking up at you smiling, you will understand why the risk might not be worth it.

I just got an answer from my OB/GYN buddy who says there is no harm inriding on a motorcycle while pregnant, as long as it stays on its wheels. He has been in a few motorcycle accidents, and he knows that I know that. So it wasn't an endorsment.

I didn't ask for a value of life opinion, or the value of a life who doesn't share the same value of life as I do. I know what he'd say. And I sure didn't ask if if a woman could make up her own mind as to whether she should ride. Our wives would kick our as-butts for even thinking we're the men in the house.

Look at it this way......Would you let your wife ride on the back of your bike while she was holding your NEW BORN in her arms.....or even if she had the child in some sort of bag or something.....I think not.

Just foolish IMHO.

Another BIG ditto here. Very very very bad idea. AND CONGRATS!!!!
