Just curious if anybody has had any experience with this? My wife is pregnant with our first child and we were discussing this topic earlier this morning. She said she doesn't feel comfortable riding because she read that if you ride (horses) or ski you shouldn't do it while pregnant because of the increased chance of becomming injured and possibly injuring the baby. Also she was worried about the vibration on top of it. Not looking for a doctor opinion just if you ever heard anything or if you (or your wife) rode or did not ride while pregnant. She does not ride her own bike, she is just my passenger.
What more of an answer do you need?

Don't do it. It's not worth the risk.
Congratulations to both you and your wife!

I think if she does nto want to then do nto do it...

other then that... GO FOR IT. If she felt comfortable why not? If it is what you enjoy. You can get hurt walking, falling down staairs, driving, pushing a cart in the grocery store and tripping and falling.

you gys are out there on saying no dont do it... nothing more dangerous then anything that will happen in anyday life.

My wife sold her own Harley when she got pregnant.
She loves to ride but stopped during the pregnancy with our three children.
Now our oldest is 8 and our youngest is 3 so she's close to getting back in the grove.

Look at it this way......Would you let your wife ride on the back of your bike while she was holding your NEW BORN in her arms.....or even if she had the child in some sort of bag or something.....I think not.

Just foolish IMHO.

You guys pretty much came to the consensus that we came to. We decided to hold off on the riding pretty much till after she delivers. I appreciate all the advise & congrats too. She'll be back in the saddle before long. Just this being our first I didn't know if anybody else has had any experience with this so I figured the more imput I could get the better off I'd be and the better decision we would be able to make. It's not so much that she doesn't feel comfortable, she's just nervous so that is why we are asking. Any more input is still appreciated. Thanks
