I like the CVO wheels, they have learnt from BMW that lacing the spokes to the outside of the rim means you can run tubeless tyres.

Everyone likes something different for sure. They should do like the automakers and let you start with a base bike and select options so you get what you want. The volume on each individual model is too low and that would make it too expensive for the manufacturer to do it that way so they dont.

The 2021 fatboy in vivid black is the only 21 model that would tenpt me to buy and I have already bought a bike this year and am about to go get another. I bought 1 Harley last year.

I have my chrome front forks wrapped on Xpel also.

i never liked the brushed look on the previous Fatboy, this chromed version looks great! I’ve gotten used to the headlight too, looks better in chrome. I might have to get one in a few years!

I understand that. My last 7 have been CVO. Don't usually add much other than bars, ride them 45K miles and trade. I like them cause on a Special I would add stuff to make it look great, then get nothing for the stuff in trade.

On a Road Glide Limited the upcharge for blacked-out finish (replaces chrome) is $1,900. Add in some of the paints at another $1,050 and you'll push almost $3,000 extra.
