I like the catalogs because if you look on line and it wasn't a factory part on the bike when it sold a lot of times it won't show up on the search of the that model or you have to look up another model to get the part number you know you need. Yeah, I'm old.......

This is why i save all my old catalogs. You can cross ref. all part numbers and look to see if a part fits your bike but is not listed for it. Hard to do on a micro fich site without writing the part number down and then going back and looking up another year bike. Give me the printed cat.

It is actually quite easy. Have two tabs open on your browser each with the microfiche site open. Have one bike on one tab and the other on the second tab. Highlight and copy the part number, switch tabs and paste the part number in the search box for the second bike.
I would find that much easier and faster than perusing a printed index in different catalogs. To each his own.

Even better, you could open 2 separate browser windows and have them side by side so you can view them simultaneously without having to switch browser tabs.
who asked your opinion on what we do? I never said it was too hard to look online or that what we do is easier or better. I simply stated why we like the paper version. Could I look online and bookmark items on my browser? Sure but that won’t do my wife much good unless she has my phone. She is also a little old school. Still uses a planner that you actually write in instead of her phone, tablet or other electronic device.
At some point, you have to move forward towards progress and flow with things and at least attempt to adapt, so you don't get left behind. Otherwise, you would be still using typewriter and riding in a buggy pulled by a horse.
