Now all that’s left within driving distance of here are a collection of. Boswell’s T shirt emporiums. I know things change, but it still sucks.
If anybody at Harley gave a damn about motorcycles, you’d think they’d occasionally glance at this forum for feedback and ideas.

I remember those days.
I could be in the middle of a project, send the wife to the dealer for a part I needed while I kept working and she'd be back in 45 minutes with it.
Now I don't even start a project unless I have everything I need, and a few parts I might need, sitting on the bench.

Bought my RK at Abernathy's a couple of years ago. It's a shame they closed (or at least aren't a HD dealer anymore). Everyone I spoke to was nice to deal with.

Great bunch of people. I never bought a bike from them, but did buy a boat and 4 wheeler from the same group. They aren’t very close to me, but always had the best prices and best employees. Just another tragic victim of “Woke”.
If they close the Family owned (70 years) dealer near me this may be my 1st & last HD
Unless they become an Indy
In 40+ years of riding I have gone to only 3 dealers for Bikes
1st once guy sold the Biz & retired, new shop was not the same
2nd one they closed their doors & only sell cars
3rd one I was still going to until I bought the Harley
I will have nothing to do with the big glitzy Harley dealers that refused to give me a price
Not driving 3+ hours round trip to talk price
It's that time of year when I update the list of HD dealer closures. For reference, I use the 2019 HOG Touring Handbook with its listing of US and Canadian dealers.
My accounting shows a total of 19 Canadian dealers closed since 2019 with Prince George BC and Yellowknife NT most recently closed.
My accounting shows a total of 104 US dealerships closed since 2019. My intention is to include only dealerships which sold new HD motorcycles and to exclude souvenir shops, however, it's not always easy to decipher souvenir shops.
I do not claim my accounting to be exact - only that it is more right than it is wrong.

Please don't bother to respond with questioning the point of why I maintain and update the list. It's just something to do in the middle of winter.
I rode my 2017 HD Road King a bit over 9,000 miles this season before trading it in for a 2017 CVO limited in July. I acquired the CVO Limited with 4,800 miles on the odometer and put it away for winter with slightly over 10,000 miles after a two-up loop around Colorado.
Use the playlists to find roads you might be interested in riding. The Zion NP and Utah-12 videos contain some gorgeous scenery. There is no audio commentary on the videos. Just press the Mute button and enjoy the scenery. There's nothing I could say which would add anything of value.
