Not exactly sure how many miles exactly, but the wife and I took a nice after dinner ride. Perfect temps/weather. Just a beautiful peaceful ride. Just bummed around on some country back roads we have not ridden before. Loving the new CVO Street Glide.

Went out riding solo today and put about 125 miles on the bike in the SoCal canyons and along the beach. I stopped by my local Harley dealership to chat with the crew and there was a fellow who had a 2007 Fatboy that I thought looked great.

He and I both came to the conclusion that there is nothing being put out by Harley today that can tempt us to abandon our 14 and 16-year old models.

Little over a hundred between two bikes; 94 on the RG to and from Cycle Gear to return something I ordered on line then local dickin' around on the Low Rider.

Today will be about another hundred, 20 or so this morning for breakfast, then 80+ taking backroads to/from a biker bar where metrics are a rarity. Today's miles will all on the V-Strom ... lest it feel neglected.

About 110 miles riding to the Sam Houston National Forest and back home. The weather was ok on the ride over, but reached 89 on the way back. While 89 isn't too bad while moving, I prefer high temps in the low to mid 70's. It will be late October before we see that around here, so taking what I can get.

Right at 189 miles (almost a full tank) around eastern NC.

Pit stop at my buddy's farm after lunch with my parents.

Woke up before 5 am, killed some time looking at the stars before I got in a short 48-mile morning ride to Lowe's and around the county -- 90 degrees and sweltering before I got home at 10:30 am!

Well, I missed the rain anyway.
