About 240 (yesterday). That was the most in 1 day for 2 years. Nice to be back on the bike again after covid had restaurants & everything else messed up.

 

175 miles this morning. Felt like 238% humidity. Stopped in Carthage NC for breakfast but the mom n pops are all closed on Sundays around here and the fast food dining rooms were also closed, I guess due to labor shortage.

So… a tank of 93 octane at Shell and a candy bar.

 

Got a few miles in yesterday to the local watering holes and to shoot the breeze with some friends and watch the bikes.

No riding today! Currently a wet day and it looks like it may continue for most of this week.

Oh well, it's good for the grass and cuts back on the electric bill

 

Planned on going out for a short ride around the neighborhood to get a feel of newly installed bars. 155 miles later, made it back home. Sometimes the unplanned, no particular destination rides are the sweetest. It's like the bike is taking you for a ride.

 

150 yesterday to see how the new risers I put on fit me. Had replaced the stock 4.5" risers with 1.5" which was fine, until I got rid of my stock solo seat for a much more padded Heritage seat. This raised me up which had me leaning forward more. Put some 3.5" risers on and I have no aches. Rode around 50 more today.

 

200 today and 200 yesterday. HOG rides, burp!

Rode a little over 300 miles yesterday. Rode up through the Sauratown mountains, stopped to visit Mayberry (Mt Airy, NC) and tried to go up Pilot mountain but they had it closed too many people there. Had to work around the house today so no miles today.

 

Around 100 miles for me. Just a short ride to beautiful western themed old town Winthrop, WA.

 

I got in 82 yesterday, on the Night Rod, after dinner, as the sun set. It wasn't much, but it was enough to keep me from losing my ****.
