316 today, total of 879 over the last three days. Been wanting to do a desert ride for a while, but kept putting it off. Had a few days of good weather predicted before it gets too hot, so screw it, I'm going.

Not bad, but suposed to hit 101 tomorrow.

Some roadside attractions in Lucern Valley

Nice time of the year to visit Death Valley. I do an annual ride to DV in October.

I rode 68 miles today, to and from "Alice's", the biker hangout at the intersection of CA 84 and CA 35. Lots and lots of other bikers out there today. Temperature was nice but it was a bit windy.

Did about 400miles. Up and back to Maggie Valley for Thunder in the Smokey's. Had a good time and decided I need better suspension, brake pads with more bite, taller windshield and taller sissy bar.

Did 900 or so this weekend from New Orleans area to Panama City Beach for the Thunder Beach Bike Rally. The we did a day trip to Apalachicola.

Great turn out, bikes everywhere. Mid 80's, gettin warm.

Lot's of rebuilding going on around this whole stretch from the recent hurricane.

Nice day. Warm (79) and a bit breezy (18 mph). Rode about 125 miles to Wabash, IN to have lunch. Stopped in at Brandt's HD before heading home. A bit surprised they were open on Sunday. Some nice vintage bikes in showroom.

Road about 300 miles yesterday. First long(ish) ride of the season. Went from Kennesaw, GA out 411 to Chatsworth. To 52 past Fort Mountain State Park. Back around the lower end on 76. Down 411 to 278. There's a nice road out that way, Brushy Mountain Road. Then to the homestead. Stopped for lunch at a nice Mexican Restaurant. El Pedro's I think was the name. Pretty good. Weather was overcast and cool. Really nice ride. I'd like to do it again in the Fall when the leaves are changing.
