65 miles. It’s getting warm here and I noticed on my 2016 street glide that during hot temps my friction zone jumps. When it’s cold friction zone is closer to the grip and when it’s hot it moves all the way out. It’s just crazy. I just received my Muller hydro clutch and haven’t installed it. Wonder if it will take care of that. Any ideas ?

 

I led my Club on our Annual Fallen Brother ride to honor them. It was a nice 292 mile ride in the hills of North GA and East TN and then a good cookout afterwards.

 

It was perfect riding weather today in northern California with temperatures in the 60's along the coast to the mid 80's inland. I put on about 150 miles today. One of my riding buddies is a road captain for the San Jose HOG chapter. So we pre road parts of a ride he will lead next month. Starting from San Francisco we headed north over the Golden Gate Bridge with wisps of fog over and under the bridge. Then north through Marin County and onto a lot of back roads in Sonoma County. The HOG ride next month would continue over to Napa County for a lunch stop in Calistoga. But he knows the roads he will be riding on there so we concentrated on the Sonoma roads, which were mostly new to all of us. We rode on some beautiful, twisty roads through green rolling hills. In about a month it will start getting quite hot and all that green will turn to a golden color when the sun shines on it. But for now we had perfect riding weather to meander through the backroads of Sonoma County.
