372-for the past two days thru the Adirondack Mts. I got to escape the heat.

Lots of riders out. Along with hooved IEDs.

I had a doe and her fawn cross in front of me - like 50-yards. I was doing 55.

Plus several standing roadside trying to determine which vehicle to take out.

I hear you 100%. Was all over the Adirondaks last week for a week. Turkeys EVERYWHERE. We had more turkeys cross in front of us or huddled along the side of the road than anything else. Lots of Mamas with chicks. I've never seen so many turkeys. Few deer here and there. A couple riders in our group saw a moose.

Love the ADKs.

A NICE 140 mile Sunday afternoon...
After nothing but rain and hot was a nice day yesterday! I had to return a defective LED turn signal to my local Harley shop so a great excuse to ride! I then headed to a 2nd Harley shop a few towns over and across the State line as an excuse to ride more and look at bikes ( I noticed he had marked down some 2023's )...

The highlight of my day was finding a basket of the BEST fresh fried Okra this side of what mama use to make at Capt Nance's in Calabash North Carolina. The Calabash shrimp and Clam Strips are always worth the drive too...

Then on my way back my little "secret" Ethanol Free Gas station I use had added fresh and clean, brand new Marathon branded pumps! But still providing me and my girl the best running NoN Ethanol, 100% pure 93 Octane GAS around but this time I could read the numbers on the pump!

Long road trips are wonderful but it's the little things... The pure gas, the Okra, The hassle-free Harley part return ( Can't always say that ) but lots to be Thankful for! The normal day to day routine task are just better on a Harley!

You never know how much of an adventure can be had on a routine trip to the Pharmacy or grocery Store "IF" you take the long way home...

340 miles round trip to Greenfield Mass and back again on the 1970 FLH with my wife on the back. Still using Waze, turn off highways and tell her you are a motorcycle, really good roads on the way up, great roads on the way back down. Bike did everything she was supposed to do, nice weekend.

86 miles today. After been stranded for over a month with rear wheel wobble I didn't care that it's mid to upper 90 and super humid - I needed that ride and it was great .

Did about 110 miles today on the Heritage running out to Astotin Lake in the NP. The more I ride it, the better it runs.

Lost track of mileage… oops.

but probably around 70 today going to work then taking a bunch of out of the way highways and backroads home after running some errands.

stopped by my favorite shop to get a few quotes and saw this crazy sissy bar made out of a giant chainsaw bar!

A “Not So Sissy” Bar
