HOG Chapter Ride
Heat - Hot - Heat
Rain - Thunder - Rain
That is all we have been dealing with for weeks now.
Our HOG chapter met at Smokin HD at 7am this morning. We rode west to Advance and had a breakfast meeting at 801 Southern. There were 10 bikes, one trike and four vehicles. I rode Belinda solo and the Caroline Girl drove. She had errands to run following and did not want to get wet.
All together we had 23 people at breakfast. Good turn out and nice fellowship.
There was a lot of moisture in the air and a large storm on the radar about 30 miles north of us.
The group was going to do the best to dodge Rain and get a 100+ mile ride in. I rode with them a while and leaned right as we went by the road I live on. I forgot a jacket and it was beginning to rain lightly. They knew I would be cutting off.
32.9 miles and a great breakfast with friends.

That sound nice, breakfast and a good ride with good friends.
I was recently on vacation and hit Asheville NC HD on its "party" day, Fantastic free hotdogs, nice dealership too and very nice people! The couple sitting at my table were part of the local HOG and we talked about the rides and such and he welcomed me to join them but I live at the coast!
All my years of owning many Harleys I have never been active in HOG but now that "all my rowdy friends have settled down" and ALL sold their Harleys, I need to get involved with HOG, I have settled down too but I still ride...

I rode through the country back toward our house and stopped for a bike photo in front of Clint Bowyer's ranch.
Round #2 was 25.9 miles.
