108 warm and windy miles.

 

I got off work early today and took the bike out for a spin. I did about 80 miles even though it was a bit breezy.

 

I rode a few but had a really weird thing happen to me today!! I came to a stop at a red light and had a full uniform cop pull right up beside me on a sportster so being friendly I said you must be on your way to work, he replies yes unfortunately and then gets a really big smile on his face and begins revving the crap out of his bike as to egg me on to run him!! so I did!! we were doing about 85 in a 35 by the time we hit the next light green!! he waved and gave me a thumbs up and took a side street towards the police station and I continued on my way puzzled but also smiling!! another twilight zone moment!!
I can only wonder what the folks in cages that witnessed this were thinking?

 

About 240 Kms. Just got my bike on the road. From North of Saskatoon Sask. and wx is not too bad.

 

First day of Spring here in Southeastern Colorado, temps near 70 degrees by mid afternoon. Got in 224 miles of handlebar therapy for the day.

Weather is supposed to me mid-60's tomorrow, will probably do some more riding.

 

Got a nice 120 mile ride in. Took a road near my home I had never been on to see where it went, nice little road in the hills. I'll ride it again.

 

Went out for 30 mins of dodging pot holes here in NJ . Needed a jacket and gloves but the short 20 miles was still nice .

 

Rode 250 miles today. Went from my hood in independence MO to mid america harley in Columbia MO, checked in with my HOG membership and bought some swag. Stopped at a flea market and bought a few things, then stopped for lunch. 1- 70 east bound is in bad shape on the west side of Columbia. For long stretches it wasn't tar snakes between the lanes but 1" wide and probably as deep of gaps of missing asphalt between lanes, and plenty of deep pot holes
