139.9 miles to be exact. A beautiful day here in central Indiana.
Stopped along the way at a 'town' named Ferndale out west of Indy close to Raccoon Lake. Nothing there but a couple of houses and this old closed down general store. I remember it was still open in the early '70's because if we were down at the lake we'd drive over to it to buy Cokes and chips, etc...

Saturday had Road Glide and Wide Glide out for some much needed cleaning. RG had half of Virginia all over her and the poor WG still had Daytona junk on her. After some TLC, WG got to go on a a 40 miles ride for a much needed adult beverage.
Sunday we did 60 miles going out for late lunch and enjoying the gorgeous weather on the Shovelhead. Bike ran great all day, was wonderful to remove the windshield. We avoided traffic al day on backroads, real nice day.

120 miles up through Vermont on Sunday. Weather was great. Ride was great. Missed Laconia this year, so saved a "wasted" trip (reference to an earlier thread).
Bike ran great, handled well two up. Did take a wrong turn and rode about 5 miles on dirt roads. I went slow. Luckily the roads were all hard pack, so didn't hit any soft sand.
PSA time: In NH we were on a windy road that I know very well. Two different corners had a lot of gravel in the road, which caused me to make some evasive moves. I felt the front tire slide off some gravel a bit on the second corner after avoiding the bulk of the debris. So watch those corners!
