340 miles yesterday. Our first objective was to explore a short route we'd never been on. Turned out to be 12 miles of twisted bliss, with perfect blacktop and constant curves. We passed through Junction City (OH) and on to Somerset. From there we rolled NE to Zanesville and a stop at Fink's H-D.
We didn't spend much time there as the place was extremely crowded due to an event. I've never seen this dealership have so many new bikes in stock, and Road Glides easily outnumbered everything else. I believe they had 5 or 6 new CVO models on the floor. We looked around and agreed there wasn't a single bike there we'd give up our RGL for. Back on the road....
I-70 eastbound took us to Cambridge, OH where we stopped for lunch. Theo's Restaurant turned out to be perfect, with amazing food and service. One of my favorite beers:
We also hit a local landmark; Kennedy's Bakery. The place is regionally famous and for good reason. It isn't a donut shop though they have several. It's a full-on bakery offering a huge selection of goods. When you walk in and find 6 people working to serve customers, you know it has to be good. We bought some treasure and headed out of town.
Further east on I-70 we made contact with OH-800 and took it south all the way to the Ohio River. We love this road....huge hills, demanding corners, curves stacked on curves with all of it running through beautiful farms and woodlands.
At the river we turned on to OH-7 and rolled to Marietta...around Parkersburg...past the 'famed' Triple Nickel...and all the way home. Felt like we did a thousand curves and I loved them all.
Weather forecast called for clouds, no rain until Saturday evening. Called Monadnock H-D to see if I could get an inspection sticker. "Yep, come on down, we'll get you right in." Okay, got the wife, picked up a friend on the way. We made it 10 miles when it started to rain. I saw some blue sky to the left, lots of dark clouds to the right. We kept going for a few miles, rain was getting heavier and there were really dark clouds in the direction we were heading. We bailed and went home.
20 freakin' miles was it. Skies cleared up a bit, friend called to see if we wanted to go back out. Nope, stayed home. He went out and got 5 miles before it started coming down again.
Hopefully Friday will have decent weather for a "wasted" trip to Laconia.

Should be nice weather for your wasted trip! Mine was wasted due to a shitty business model one of the vendors has and I wasn’t able to achieve what I went for.

Care to elaborate on what happened? Been going there for years and never really see any deals from vendors. It seems like full retail on everything.
Was supposed to be sunny and temps around 70*F here today. Well that didn't happen, it has been cloudy since 8am or so and the temps barely made it to 60*F.
