For almost a week it has been VERY wet here, rain, mist, and heavy fog over night. Everything is damp so I got the bike out to burn off the dampness seeing it hasn't moved for about 3 weeks.

So I guess 15 miles is better than no miles. I would have been out longer but more rain is close and could start any time.

After all day drizzle yesterday we’ve got great Christmas weather: 50F, sun came out. Did 149 miles, Merry Christmas everyone!

 

Okay got a little over 100 miles in. Rode over to the Susquehanna River to see what it was doing from all the rain. Water level was up and clam as can be in this spot as there is no wind.

Started out as pretty overcast but sun came out later.

 

My wife booted me out of the house while she made Christmas lunch. It was rainy here in central Indiana but snuck in 160 miles and crossed 38,000 miles for the year. Won't cross 43k like last year but 2023 was still amazing even with a lot of downtime.

 

Low 40's this afternoon. I put 20 miles on my 1992 FXSTC and then 15 more on my 1984 FXEF. The Softail is a nice bike and comfortable to ride, but I love to rip and tear on my Shovel! I wish the 92 Softail had a 4 Speed! 4 Speeds rule!

 

About 50 miles.
Visited a friend in the hospital, then headed to the coast for a sunset cruise.

176 miles today. Forecast was cloudy all day but sun was peeking now and then. Mid to upper 40, good time.

 

Got about 50 miles in, took the FJ out and blew the dust and cobwebs off of her. 51 degrees so it was a nice shorter ride with no heated gear, just overpants and Darien Aerostich with Pro Liner. FJ has heated grips so used those a bit.
