Default 12 Miles

12 wonderful miles with my bestest girl.

We sleep in this morning, enjoyed some coffee, ended up watching a stupid movie, fixed an egg sandwich and finally walked outside at 12 noon.

Instead of enjoying the beautiful weather on two wheels, we did building repair on the man cave. This included cleaning, putty, sanding, painting and garage door repair. Finished about 5 pm. We rolled out at 6:30 pm in the dark on Belinda with the tunes blasting!

We rolled into The Station in downtown Mocksville and there was only one other bike there, a Street Glide also. About two dozen people and a man and woman combo entertaining. We enjoyed a Red Oak and listened to the music for about an hour. Then we walked a block to Restaurant 101 and enjoyed an excellent meal.

On the way back home I know I annoyed a few people with the stereo rocking!

Great day, great ride, wonderful weather.

12 miles of pure satisfaction.

Another beautiful FULL Moon.

It got up to a very comfortable 84 degrees in NC today.

Saturday was 80° on Long Island. We took the Shovel out for a nice 45 mile loop including brunch in Huntington and a beer on Lake Ronkonkoma. Real nice day, turned into t shirt weather by 3:00 PM. Bike ran perfectly.

Smithtown stop, just off Landing Avenue.

Rode 77 miles yesterday to get a beer, pizza and listen to some live music. I convinced my wife to ride the Sportster instead of riding passenger. Beautify day here in Eastern NC.

Is that an actual, aerial view of the Tail of the Dragon? Cool pic regardless!

No. That might be some Tail of the Dragon, but not the one in Tennessee/North Carolina.

Just my uneducated opinion.

That is a beautiful picture. But it is definitely not the Tail of the Dragon in NC.

156. I took afternoon off for what may be the last 80 degrees we see for a while (but you never know about North Carolina weather!).

Another stop at Morrow Mountain.

It’s not the BRP or the Smokies but it’s still a beautiful place!

I hope someone can identify the location of that switchback highway! Or if it is even real or computer generated? It may be real, as there are places landscaped that way in the orient for agricultural purposes. The vegetation sure looks like North America.
