Well , I mad it about a half mile , to the gas station . You know how you get that feeling where nothing is going to stop you from going , well , the winds this morning were gusting up to 50kmhr and were suppose to reach 70 by noon . While I was filling , I thought to myself , if I were on a trip , why not , but I'm not , so it's not gonna be much fun , so I went home , just wasn't feeling it .

75 miles to work and back. Bumper to bumper highway at 80mph. Still, better than not riding.

Agreed !

Went with two buddies out for breakfast today , about 180 miles , it ain't much , but I got out of the city , which is something .

Leaving Friday , weather permitting , will do approx 500 miles , just for a burger and fries , can't wait .

Usually , when I ask my bud's if they'd like to join me for a burger , they ask " just how long is it going to take " , Lol . I haven't found any takers yet , if my wife can't make it , I'll go solo .

After a week of rain got out yesterday, about 90 miles after work. Fall is definitely here; during the ride temperature dipped below 60, so had to turn on heat on the grips. Great ride and looks like rest of the week weather is going to cooperate.

Don't know if you'd consider it in range and worthy of a ride, but there's a town in New Mexico called "Pie Town". Apparently we just missed their annual Pie Festival, which is the 2nd Saturday of each September. I stopped at the Pie-O-Neer, and its offerings seemed plenty tasty.
