So how many miles did you ride today ?

Just got home form a nice ride in the mountains. About 260 miles total. Longest day ride I've been able to do this year. We finally got a nice dry day with perfect temperatures. I went up I-70 west from Denver, through the Eisenhower tunnel to Dillon, then north on hwy 9 to Kremling, then HWY 40 back to I-70 going past Winter Park and Mary Jane ski resorts. Berthod pass on HWY 40 was fun, lot's of long tight switchbacks. The whole route was spectacular scenery. One of these days I'll get a Gopro so I can make some videos. Was having way to much fun to stop and take pics.

Right at 145 miles.
We've rented another cabin down in Brown County for the last weekend in September so I thought I'd ride down to find exactly where it is. It's out in the sticks outside of Nashville, Indiana, and I found out how far out in the sticks it is... sorta... Apparently took the wrong narrow country road and never did find it. These were winding hilly roads barely wide enough for two cars/trucks but fun on a bike.
Finally I stopped and was trying to figure out where I was with Google Maps when a guy on bike pulled over to see if I needed help. I was pretty sure I knew which way I needed to go to get back on the main highway/road. He told me I was, and I finally got back to a familiar road. Made for an 'interesting' early afternoon...
