Only 22 miles. Didn't feel like dealing with an approaching storm.

314 miles Saturday on my return home to Fort Wayne from the Rockford area. Chicago area traffic was pretty good, despite the fact that it was Labor Day weekend.

Total miles on trip to ND: 2146 in 6 days for an average of 358 per day. Very close to my normal trip average of 300-400 per day.

Craziest thing I saw on the trip happened only about 45 miles from home. A guy on a "ninja" bike blew past me on I-69 like I was standing still. I was going 70 mph and I guess he was going 100+. WOW!

Rode the Devil’s Triangle NW of Knoxville.

Awesome road. Like the Rattler, I recommend if looking for more than the dragon which is always jammed during season.

Theres an old prison and distillery on the farthest west point. Good tour and there’s food. Whiskey for sale as well. Prison fame is from holding the dude that shot MLK. Ray? Did some time there otherwise an old AF place that could stand to house petty criminals that are all the rage these days.

To the road, some serious switchbacks throughout and some nice mellow runs. Small grocery about midway? that has snacks, and fuel. Some chairs, a small crick…no cell.

Again, highly recommended as it’s a fun and peaceful ride.

Mine on end, seen bikes, pulled in, chatted. Good times!

Zero, Zero, Zero, Zero

The Carolina Girl has Covid and I have been dealing with a sinus infection.

Absolutely beautiful weather and just binge watching television. Sucks!

About to fry some beautiful Crappie that my neighbor caught yesterday. That should put a smile on our faces.

Happy Labor Day

Sinus infections are no fun. Hopefully it will resolve itself on it's own. Hope you both are better soon!

Seasonal allergies are a problem where I live. Using the Ocean nasal spray helps. And when it gets really bad, I resort to Fluticasone (OTC) which you can get at Sams at a reasonable price. It helps open the nasal canals so the gunk can get out.

It was yesterday but...
330 Miles.

The PNW Riders regional Discord had a meet up yesterday and a lot of us showed up.
From Harleys to Ducatis to even a classic royal enfield.
It was the longest single day of riding ever for me.
We meet up at Castle Rock, then rode up Mount St.Helens then down. Absolutely amazing ride.
Riding home I was with 3 sport bikes and we were all playing motorcycle hopscotch on the freeway.
One hell of a day, and tons of fun.
