It was really bad here in North Georgia last night our power has been out for 17 hours and trees down everywhere ride safe

 

Got my little shifting dilemma fixed . And went out for a 140 miles and more then 10 miles was a dirt road though a wildlife management area that definitely had a lot of deer . But my destination was the Barb’s Harley Davidson dealership over on Blackhorse pike in New Jersey .
I will say I different like that softail classic .

 

Just got in 100 miles before the grandbaby got here for the day. I’ll hopefully get in maybe 150-200 tomorrow after stopping in for the rider’s brunch at Carolina Brewery in Pittsboro tomorrow morning.

Do you know the difference between riding at age 17, versus age 67?

Nothing, absolutely nothing.

Age leaves the equation when you are in motion.

I took a quick trip to the gas station this morning and it's better than any cup of coffee. We're under a heat advisory right now so nothing crazy.

 

I rode 80 miles (return) to my dealership.. Harley was there this morning with their test ride program. So I got to put 10 miles on each of the bikes below.

 

Rode 228 miles today. Went up to Volant Pa in Amish country. Stopped by a road side Amish vegetable stand. Picked up some corn a green beans. Perfect weather.

 

today was an absolute banger of a day! low 80's and much lower humidity. I got in just under 150mi.

 

315 today. South of Nashville to Columbus, IN. Not a good day.

Bad traffic backup on I-65 south of Louisville, KY. My 2022 Heritage actually overheated and shut down in a terrible spot. Only about 3-3.5 feet of Berm to the side of the 2 open lanes south of Exit 112. Luckily nobody was going more than 5 mph in the stop and go. Two people offered iced beverages as I sat there trying to get a tow (no luck). Finally the bike re-started and I rode it over to Bluegrass HD. They checked it out and, indeed, it had an error code for over heating. Lost about 4-5 hours.

I was planning on getting home (520 miles or so) today, but no dice. Glad neither I nor the bike was hurt.

 

Went to the dealer to get supplies for oncoming 20k service and after few shortcuts it turned out 175 miles. Much needed therapy in a beautiful weather.

 

Put a nice 400 miles in Reaper's saddle today. Mostly in Adirondack Park. Beautiful day for a ride, and Reaper purred along awesomely.

I had some stuff to carry, so she was in Baggertail Mode.
