What a beautiful day here in the Carolinas. Mid 60's to low 70's and not a cloud in the sky.
The Carolina Girl and I took a ride up to Freebornes on the BRP today.
Ginger ran great and it was good to see Diane and Ashley. There was a pretty good crowd there today.
The BRP is still closed between Hwy 18 and 16. Now it is also closed between Daughton Park and Hwy 21. We rode up 21 thinking we would catch the BRP south. Nope!
So we made the best if it and discovered a new road called Pine Swamp Rd. It is a very good ride off 21 over to 18 just south of Sparta.
On the way home we ran through downtown Wilkesboro and grabbed these pictures.

just shy of 100mi, started out on a "covered bridge" ride that benefitted a cure for cancer, that ended up being a **** show, so I dipped out on my own and got some quality miles in!
got in from work, internet (no tv as we stream YT TV) was down, I don't often ride after work if I work the next day, decided to head out for a quick 50mi rip, very enjoyable, minus Pennsylvania and their lazy road maintenance habits with tar and chipping
417 up to Wheels through Time in Maggie Valley then on to Tellico Plains TN to meet my buddy @95 Ultra who rode the same distance from the opposite direction. We’ll spend a couple days riding in the Smokies and drinking beer on the porch.
115 mainly commuting to and from an appointment then snagging a tag on a Tag-O-Rama game I play on an ADV forum. This one was an old elementary school just off the beaten path.
Took the Tri-Glide out today for the first time this season.
Met up with my riding partner and we took a long ride for lunch.
I put just a tad under 300 miles on it.
Just about time to schedule a service to prepare for the season.
