Sunny skies, dry roads and mid 30's temps here in southern New England today. Had to attend a family birthday celebration, but got to ride down and back. About 110 round trip.

 

+/- 80 mi. rd. trip to the highest point in my state

 

33 degrees = 40 miles.
Too much salts and ice in shady corners to risk it.

 

Roads are clean and clear in SE MI. Did about 200 miles on Saturday.

 

Was 33 degrees when I pulled out of Driveway on the King Sunday. Got a nice 120 mile ride in. It was sunny and clear.

 

50 miles today so far, hopefully get 50 more headed home this afternoon.

 

Bout 30. Just did the first of 3 auto tunes. Got new slips

 

Zero miles today (Monday) but yesterday I went on my usual Sunday ride with a couple of riding buddies. Starting in San Francisco and north over the Golden Gate Bridge to Marin County. Got off at Mill Valley and rode over to the coast. Incredible views yesterday of monster size waves breaking way out to sea. North along the coast, through Stinson Beach, Pt. Reyes, Marshall and Tomales Bay for perhaps 60-70 miles and finally turning east on the Tomales-Petaluma Road and eventually onto 101 South to the Golden Gate Bridge and home. Temperature was about 60. Miles for the day about 150. A usual Sunday. Last Sunday was the wine country (read the Napa Valley). Almost no traffic.

 

Tuesday afternoon I took a nice 132 mile ride on some great curves roads in east TN. Nice clear day in the low 40's.

 

Rode the Road Glide to the dealer yesterday to have seat and front rotors replaced under warranty. It was suppose to get up to 47 degrees and sunny. It was neither. 27 degrees when I pulled out of driveway for 57 mile ride over. It was 34 degrees at 3pm when I got home, still no sun. All said 114 miles
