Today was a sunny, cold and windy day following several days of rain.
High temp was 49 degrees with 7-10 mph winds.
I enjoyed breakfast with the Carolina Girl, cleaned the gutters and got some leaves up. About that time a buddy called and asked me if I would like to ride with him over to Ridin High HD to pick up a Christmas present for his wife. I was in and he took me all 2 lane back roads until we hit Hwy 68. Great ride and my gear kept me comfortable.
They we’re super busy and look like they have all the same bikes in stock they had two weeks back. They did announce while there the sale of a new Street Glide ST.
Merry Christmas

Yesterday (Tuesday) was cold. Only two others in the crew arrived and ready to ride. Heard the typical excuses, one guy was still doing his holiday shoping, another was waiting for a repairman to fix his heating system. etc. Rode 123 miles around the northwestern part of NJ. I was surprised to see snow on the sides of the road since I've only had light flurries by me, and they quickly melted. We stopped for lunch at Uncle Buck's Diner in Belvidere, NJ. A shorter ride day, since it was cold and gets dark early.

23!
Primary and new fork bearings was finally completed so I picked up the bike today. Got 23 miles in and it’s staged by the door for tomorrow morning’s commute.
There seems to be a more responsive transfer of power to the rear wheel… it feels a bit ‘snappier’ off the line.
Probably to be expected w/ a new chain, tensioner, comp eliminator, and clutch (basket & cage).
Maybe I just didn’t realize the loss of power was that significant.
I’ll be sure to confirm this theory repeatedly.

100 miles yesterday. 50 driven so far today, was a foggy commute, some very thick. Looks to be colder here next Tuesday morning for my commute, it'll be cold here for Christmas Eve and Christmas as well, but no White Christmas, I plan to get in a Christmas day ride anyway.
I'll have to make sure my heater still works, not sure the last time I used it. I'll need to charge the heated gloves as well.
Brrr!

Zero, and not looking good...
Winter blew in with a vengeance last night.
Got the truck in the garage so I don't have to clean it off and the used vehicles for sale parked in the driveway.
The forecast was 8-12 inches, and I didn't want to leave them on the lawn until it melted.
We only got a little bit, but the temps and winds make riding impossible.
7° with 27mph wind and a -17 windchill.
