Finally picked her up from repairs and had a nice ride home, something like 30 odd miles in "scorching" and sunny 38 deg Oh and while at the dealer picked up a bell for my son's ride.
Drove 100 yesterday and 50 so far today. If it makes y'all feel any better, the weather has been nasty down here with fog in the mornings and drizzle in the afternoon, though a bit warmer today, I think.
I bought some battery heated gloves for this year. I'll probably start seeing the 40°F here in a week or so. Cooling some next week they claim, 60°Fs in the AM 70°Fs low 80°Fs in the PM.
Was a little foggy and nasty this AM for much of my 50-mile drive.
I went to the Walmart next to Crossroads HD in Wilkesboro and bought $200.00 in toys for the dealership toy drive and delivered them.
Below was gasoline I put in strangers tanks.
Above is the fuel I put in an older fellows Saturn at the local Sheetz. He turned out to be a retired minister. Very nice guy to speak with.
Above is the fuel I put in a sweet young ladies tank who was headed back to Illinois after visiting family in NC. She almost cried when I offered to fill her tank for her.
I rode to Freebornes on the BRP and enjoyed a late lunch. The ticket was $13.79 and I gave the waitress a $25.00 tip.
It’s a great time of the year to give and help others Have an even better day. The Carolina Girl picked up a gift certificate today for our post lady and the UPS guy. Both of which are awesome.
