10 miles to lowes to buy a new washer and dryer and hit the ATM for poker tonight. Sometimes you just gotta ride the bike even if it’s a couple miles.

 

50 miles so far. It was in the mid to upper 50°F range this morning and winds out of the North, not bad though. Looks to be warming back up though.

 

Those are some really nice numbers you have there , up here , we'll be getting highs of 40 - 50 , but that won't stop me .

Today was likely 10-12 didn’t look.

 

225-today, (Sat). Just north of Cooperstown, NY I spotted 6-8 bald eagles on route 80.

At first I thought they were the ever present turkey vultures, but the bright sun lit up their white head and tail feathers!

Then two seemed engaged in playful tight circles right over our bikes. Just too cool!

We have roosts of 50+ on Onondaga Lake in the winter and breeding pairs at the Montezuma Federal Wildlife Refuge.

But I’ve never seen so many together in CNY outside of those two areas.

A great blue sky day with temps in the upper 60’s.

I might hit 1k for the week riding Sunday. It’s been a great fall up here.

Just over 100. Took a ride around one of the local lakes. What a relaxing beautiful fall ride.

 

Wife and I took a 2hr ride out to the lake and enjoyed a coffee on the beach , low 40's , the clouds rolled in as we were getting home . This might be the last ride of the season , temps drop drastically tonight , but who knows , maybe there's one more in it for me .

 

Not sure on the miles. About 2 1/2 hours out and about to enjoy some sideroads while it's warm.

Took a tall boy demo seat from the dealer and it's made a difference in my comfort on the bike. Feel like I fit now instead of being cramped up.
