Default Maybe a hundred...

Breakfast run in town before the heat sets in...rode through the ritzy hoods and around squaw peak and camelback mountains. Was a good day...

91. No where in particular. Just glad the rain and my days off finally got out of sync.

The other evening I got off work at 7pm and decided to take a short ride. 102 miles later I came back. I was not expecting to ride so far, but it was nice.

About 330. Heading out to Lake Placid on Wednesday because I have never been there and they tell me it's nice. About 700 round trip in 2 days

I see the hip surgeon on Tuesday so my riding is almost non-existent. I did manage to log 12 miles on the Sportster. Will be my last ride until next year.

Hoping for a quick recovery, I'm heading in that direction in the future I'm afraid. Hips got to the point I couldn't hold the Road Glide up at stops.....so went to three wheels, I hate surgeries.

I had to ride my kids Sportster to the dealership. Holy hell that hurt. I get my first hip replacement Oct 13th and the second one 6 weeks later. Good luck. I have trouble on the Roadglide but my Softail is a bit easier on me.

On Sunday, we took scenic roads out to Bright Penny Brewing in Mebane. I took the Road King and my wife rode the Sportster. Her longest trip so far, 150 miles total. On the way a hawk almost knocked my wife off her bike, but she kept her cool and stayed in her lane. We had a beer, Grandma's Eggs and a pizza. Check the place out if you're passing by.

Didn't get a picture of the hawk attack or pizza, but here are the eggs, they have 9 different flavors, we tried 3 of them.

Yesterday - 192 miles round trip. Went to the parents house in Wilson NC for lunch then out to a house that I am looking at in Rocky Mount NC to scope out the surrounding areas.

Next I rode over to Greenville NC to meet my daughter who is finishing up her first week as a freshman at ECU.

Took the long way back home through Benson and then back home in Clayton. Luckily I dodged all the pop up showers that we have been getting for the past few weeks.

My youngest just started his freshman year at ECU as well. My daughter is in her final year at ECU. Needless to say, we have lots of purple/gold clothing. Did you eat at Sup Dogs? Or maybe BBQ?
