96 miles. My son finally made his 82 Yamaha 650 somewhat running, ran to register it yesterday and we went for a ride today; for me it also was somewhat new experience - my first “group” ride 😀. Life is good !

 

Only about 30 before starting the bar swap. Looks like the Roadglide gets ridden tomorrow. Need a few parts for the Softail.

 

Rode from Northern VA out and over Skykine via 211 for some BBQ in Luray. Then rode back to Culpeper via 522 and back to NOVA up 29. About 150 miles total. Was a much needed ride after a busy few months with work and family and not much riding besides the occasional hour after work. Great times.

On the way back we rode Ohio’s 555 aka the Triple Nickel. Great road.

Yes it was a great ride. I don’t live too far from Warrenton where it starts and never get bored of a ride down 211 and over the mountain and back.

I have spent 5 hours today doing a complete check over and full detail on Olivia after getting her back from the dealer yesterday.

About 50 on the Roadglide. Just a short breakfast run. The tank width just kills me lately. But I can tell ya. The center stand and air ride dropped when I park really helps me get off the bike a lot easier.

 

None today and none yesterday. Yesterday the 27th was our 40th wedding anniversary, spent the day with my wife driving around to nature preserves, covered bridges, etc... as she love to take pictures, and just sitting by a lake watching the boats. Finished the evening with a nice dinner, and a bottle of Champagne. Perfect day, perfect evening, and the perfect person to spend it with.
