After nearly 7 months of not riding because of winter and hip issues, I was able to get out today. I really thought I'd need surgery and riding would have to wait until next year. So, after checking air and oil the bike started the second I hit the start button. I got in about 55 miles and then stopped. Wasn't sure how the hips would do and the winds were gusting to almost 50mph. The huge smile said it all, I'm back in the saddle as long as the hip injections will allow! Damn, it was nice.
Drove 50 this morning, some wet roads and plenty of thunder and lightning, very little actual rain, though, looks like the raining season is cranking up.
With so many things going on, the weather, trips and trying to get caught up on yardwork I FINALLY backed my trike out of the garage to day and gave it a quick bath so I rode it about 20ft!
Mid-80's here today but it looks like we have so more 60 degree and wet weather on the way!
Not today but, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Had 4 business meetings in 3 different towns in Northwest Florida, total was 6 hours in meetings and 537 miles rode over 3 days. 2 nights in hotels, SEVERAL liquor drinks consumed.
Did small 117 miles loop after work. Had to pop an allergy pill and still was sneezing. Not much fun to sneeze in FF helmet 😂 Well, managed to open face shield every time lol.
