240 from door to door.
Here's the route

The road out to the coast.
The corner of the "Emerald Triangle"... just stopping and picking buds all along the side of road :<

As usual around here, it can be 80+ degrees inland, and be foggy as hell at the ocean.
This is looking towards the town of Mendocino.

Back inland through the redwoods...nice.

Ha! lunch in the forest. Only had a sip er two!

Gotta admit, was pretty whipped by the time I got home.

First chance I had to get out in a few weeks, quick after dinner ride of 33 miles round trip to the beach and back.
Wind on the east coast of FL has been pretty much non stop and the tide has been pounding the coast for days washing out all the sand replacement the county has done over the winter.

We had one day out here in the desert that was exceptionally windy and I actually turned my bike around and went home. I was on a Sportster and it was the day before my birthday. It was like, you know, it'd be kinda shitty if I didn't make it to Bla-Bla when I'm this close. I actually try to ride my bike every day even if it's just a short spin. Pretty soon it'll be to hot.

Water looks good. Windy as all get out on the west side as well.

Went fishing out of Fort Lauderdale a couple of weeks ago, white caps, windy and raining when we headed out, but was a lot nicer after 9 am. The grandkids had a blast and handled the rough seas pretty well.

I need to head to the Treasure Coast with the metal detector.
