I rode about 40 miles today chasing a part for the Oldsmobile. It was 79 degrees here so It made for a nice ride....

 

Went to a Rats and Rods car show today, just over 100 miles round trip. Beautiful weather in Northern Lower Mi. today.

 

155 miles today.

 

Zero, raining all day today, went to the indoor range instead.

 

Upper 60's here today, got in just under a 100 miles.

 

Finally had a nice day. Clear blue sky, normal winds, tons of sunshine and 406 miles. Once I got up to Prairie Du Chien WI, I crossed over into Iowa and headed back home. I didn't cross back into Illinois until I wound my way down to Clinton, via Dyersville. It was a great way to spend 9 hours.

 

52 miles. Round trip to dinner at Rainbow Oaks Restaurant.

 

Just a little 55 miles to the LGS for some new lens covers for the new Meopta 1-6 Optika6 and then a run out in the country to pickup my 2 week supply of free range chicken eggs. Great day but around 11am when I got back it was getting pretty gusty. So headed out of town with momma for some shopping and out for super on her weekend!

Take momma to breakfast tomorrow since her worthless son's probably will be a no show,,,

But then I will be putting on some serious miles, next week have a couple 400 to 600 mile trips planned, the one from Ohio to Manistee Michigan is probably the most scenic,,,,, might even bring some Morels home?

 

56 miles. Small loop. Also did some slow speed offset cone weave exercise from Ride like a Pro video.

 

200 - did a loop starting in Venice Beach up HWY 1 through Malibu and back across the Santa Monica mountains. Final stop for a beer at the Rainbow Bar in West Hollywood. Then back down to Orange County.
