Local dealership had a remembrance for him last night. He was the HOG chapter director. Huge turn out. 112 mile round trip ride for me.
Very sorry for your loss Dave. I hope his daughter is doing OK as well as you and all his other friends and family.

194 miles. Mid 50’s and cloudy, little bit of rain here and there and some sunshine.

Took my bike to get new front and rear break pads. After 52,000 miles it was time to replace original pads. They still had some life left in them.

Anyways new pads are EBC semi sintered. Noticed that front makes chirping sound under braking and also not as grabby as OEM. Had to pull in front lever really hard to stop.

Took off around 8am 43* and starting to cl0oud up, 30 miles to Ft. Wayne for some official paper work, then a stop at the a friends bike shop,,, shoulda kept riding. But after ordering more stuff I really don't need, took a spin on the interdtate to a local Gun shop, which had nothing but cheap plastic scrap! So after about 60 miles I decided to head back into the big town and stopped and got a horn a cheese and a whole choice Rib-Eye, back home after 135 miles before the rain started,,, actually hit a few drops crossing back into Ohio, and made 14 nice 1 1/2" Ribeye steaks around 22 oz average and got a good supply of tasty of quality tasting Colby Jack and 2.5# of Smoked Gouda to go with my Woodford Reserve I stocked up on last weekend,,,,

Now I got plenty of refreshments and eats for next week when I pile on them 200 to 400 miles a day with the first big warmup and sunny weather of the year with temps touching and nocking on the 80's all week!! I think I'll make my first ride a trip to Michigan Monday and stock up on the Two Hearted Ale, then we'll have everything covered fer next week after them draining days in the saddle,,,,

Hair under 100 miles today, found some nice local-ish twisty roads and this old school in the middle of nowhere. Every time I ride this bike I miss my RGS less and less.
