We had some great riding weather this weekend. I left at noon on Friday, rode from Wake Forest (Raleigh) east to Greenville, then up to Elizabeth City and then down to Harbinger to check out the Outer Banks Bike Week. Then a stop in Kitty Hawk for a $2 mystery beer at Longboards, then down to Nags Head for the night. 241 miles for the day. Saturday I went back to Harbinger for OBX Bike Week, left there at 2:30. Back down through Nags Head, west to Plymouth, down to Washington, NC, then through New Bern and on to Emerald Isle for some more beach time. 253 miles on Saturday. Sunday, left Emerald Isle at 4:30pm and headed back to Wake Forest, 170 miles. Rode across several long bridges, saw some beautiful beaches and lots of bikes. Total for the weekend was 664 miles. 90 miles, round trip to work. Now it's back to 35* and raining

 

I rode 200 miles from Raleigh up to Virginia and back to visit family. I would have gone farther, but I had chores for me to do.

It was a good ride in nice weather.

 

Rotator cuff surgery in December, 100 mile test ride yesterday. No problems, shoulder felt great! Back on the road.

 

Was nearly 80 here Saturday. Rode approx. 100 miles on a test ride after I replaced the cam chain tensioners. Everything's OK.

 

137-miles today. Started at 61-degrees and finished at 79!

I might have some scratches on bag bottoms. Bike sank into the stones more than I expected!

But I still love off-roading....
