Default Mixing chrome and powder coat black

I ride a 2006 Fatboy CVO and she is almost all chrome. I am considering changing the exhaust and the bars and I am considering mixing it up some and going with black exhaust and black apes. Sometimes the amount of chrome on the bike seemed like too much.

Anyone done that? I'd love to see some examples. I'd hate to spend the cash and wind up totally hating it.
All pics appreciated! Thanks,
Michael

Perhaps photoshop pics of your bike blackening the chrome bits you’re considering?

It can look nice. I like that my bike is all black but the engine pieces are polished. Makes the engine stand out.
Here's something I found, not mine:

A balance of black and chrome always looks cool.

Thanks all for the pics. I'm feeling better about the plan.

This was the wifes bike, we have since traded it on a 19 STGS. We add the black pipe, black A/C and bars and it really made chrome pop out.
