Much ado about nothing. This was a design project by a student and there is zero evidence that H-D has any intention of taking it up. As the disclaimer on the project web site states:
"Student project disclaimer: This project was created in an academic setting for educational purposes only. There is no intent to sell or produce this motorcycle and the project is not in affiliation with or sponsored by any company including Harley-Davidson, Carhartt, or Revival Cycles."
If H-D really wants to continue playing in the EV space they need a practical follow up to the LiveWire. This isn't it.

Unfortunately the crowd they are seeking cant afford the bike let alone the mods.....

Dear God I hope Harley doesn't pervert and destroy the iconic Electra Glide name. With all the brainiacs working on the EVs of the future I would hope they could come up with a new name for whatever they build.

I'll go against the grain here and say that I like it. Its got a minimalist look that I like. Would I buy one? Nope, probably not. But I would definitely take it for a ride if someone offered, and I can admire the talent and work that went into it.

this bike is the equivalent of HD shooting themselves in the foot with the Livewire, then admiring themselves for good aim

why would you produce a bike that is like the one that you produced.....that no one wants?
