Harley Davidson Pan America -final form

That looks like the mosko reckless 80... It's a rack less system. Real nice design/ set.
Two guys I ride with use that system, and love it. The rest use soft panniers or similar.
A lot of it depends on use and preference though. I get why some people like that hard pan look. It's classic, and what you expect to see when you think bmw GS.
Rich people have both. 😋

Luggage System
When I used the soft luggage system for the first time, I quickly realized that I would never go back to hard panniers. The soft luggage system is much lighter and easier to take off in case I have to leave my bike somewhere on the street. For Dhanno I used the Mosko Moto Reckless 80 and for Ronin, I wanted the same setup.
The soft luggage system may have remained the same, but I did change the top bag on the back. Instead of the Stinger 22, I now opted for the Scout 30L because I’m camping this season. For that, I need a little bit more packing space. I also attached two extra Molle 2L pouches and one Molle 4L pouch to my Reckless 80.

Whatever itchyboots is currently using on her world travels seems to do a good job keeping stuff dry with all of the rain she travels in.

I watched a few of her in South America.... but then backed up and started from the beginning... some of the roads she rides around in all of the 'Stans, are pretty sketchy... when she is on them, i always ask myself... Electraglide road... or not an Electraglide road... quite a few are the later.

There's no coincidence why certain things "pop up" on our computers and phones... It's somewhat convenient, but also pretty creepy.
Not sure if you've watched Social Dilemma on Netflix yet... it's worth watching.
And to stay on topic... My guess is it'll have 19/17 wheels also. Should make for a nice touring bike, assuming it's got halfway decent wind protection that functions properly.

I follow these threads because I’m intrigued by ADV bikes and their possibilities. However at this point in my life I don’t see one in my near future because my wife loves to ride with me, which is not a bad thing, and these style bike don’t seem to be good for two up. So for now I have to live vicariously through yours and Rockys posts and random videos of others headed down forest roads to awe inspiring vistas.
