Charlie's HD (formerly Benjy's) for parts???
Ok I think I need to give up on Chicago Harley. Placed an order last night and all parts are special order.[:@] Even something so basic as docking hardware for touring models. Figure they would keep plenty of those in stock. So I am going to give Charlie's a call. I understand it is Jenny??? that you have to deal with correct?? Is she just in the parts department or is she in a special area of parts. Do you have to ask for the discount or is it automatically given???

When I called, I just asked for Jenni in the parts dept. I told her what I wanted and the price she quoted was the discounted price.

you can pretty much expect that with Chicago. I order from them all the time and even though they have to 'special order' I get my parts in 1 to 2 weeks. always.

I've dealt with Jenny Sapyta at Charlie's Harley Davidson (charlieshd.com) for years. She's great to deal with! I first dealt with her when she worked at Hale's Harley Davidson in Ohio. Always got at least 20% off retail, quick and reasonable shipping and no sales tax.She also sells onEbay under the name of "Spock123." Give her a call(304) 523-1340.

Yes I know this. I have usually waited for parts from them but they were not your common parts. Something as common and in demand as docking hardware is normally a stock item at dealerships. Probably 95% of the people who buy touring bikes install docking hardware. I am just miffed that they have to special order something like that.

I looked on their website and noticed that there are several people in parts. Is Jenny the only one to deal with to get the discount???

It took about 2 weeks for my service manual and windshield pouch to come in from Chi town.
