D-day is almost here.....or maybe I should say L -day, the day we leave headed south. Destination, Gatlinburg, Tn for 4 nights. We had to pare down the trip so I left it up to the sife, either cut out the first leg, Gatlinburg and the mountains and go to Nashville, or the otherway around. She chose to go to Gat (that got my vote as well, but we all know whose vote carries the most weight...lol). The its backroads, 68 to Crossville, 70 to Cookville, stayover, then over to Baxter, backroads 56 to 135 to 63 around Gamaliel in Tn then up to Glascow, Ky. We cut over to 31E there and end up in Louisville. Trying to stay off the interstate....We end the day in Anderson Ind, stayover, then head up 9 into Michigan. We leave Tues afternoon and our first stop is Dry Ridge, Ky for the night. Next day into Gat. Getting the WG all primed and ready. New brakes, new front tire, fresh oil and filter.

Man I'm ready to ride Clyde.....

Oh yeh, the ol Diggy Camera will hold several hundred photos and am planning to take lots! Thanks guys, not sure which I am looking forward to the most, the mountains around Gat or the backroad riding after we leave there....

Make sure you eat breakfast at the "Pancake Pantry" and dinner at the "Peddler" in Gatlinburg.
It's pricey, but worth it.
